It’s really a gamble to take family portraits outside once you get to mid-November. Will it be freezing? Will there be snow on the ground… or just wetness everywhere? Or WORSE: will it just be an ugly, grey day. Don’t get me wrong! I love grey skies. But for a family photoshoot when we are welcoming a perfect little baby girl into this perfectly gorgeous family? Not exactly a backdrop that screams Stunning.
Fortunately for us, this day was pure beauty. Yes, it was a little damp on the ground. No problem though! Mom came equipped with a cozy blanket. Yes, it was a bit chilly. No problem! It just gave us an excuse to get everyone all cuddled up together. Not to mention a reason to put little Tristan in that irresistible winter hat. I mean, come ON – how precious is he?! And these blue skies? I couldn’t have imagined anything better.
