Whether you started planning your wedding when you were 12, or the details of such an event never crossed your mind until you found yourself engaged – at some point, you probably decided that you wanted your wedding to be perfect.
One of the reasons it was so much fun working with Deb and Heidi is because they were so open to the possibilities of what perfection could look like. There were clearly some specifics already in place before I came along (sunflowers galore, a short ceremony that would start at 3:33 on the nose, and a carefully selected bridal party), but other details were fair game for discussion, inspiration, and play. That’s why it was just so easy to photograph their special day, which felt – in literally every way – just like them.
From the relaxed and buzzed salon time full of giggles, to the comedic and personalized ceremony, to all of the special moments in between when I caught these beautiful brides looking deeply into each others’ eyes… they knew exactly how to make this day perfect – by making it perfectly them. I’m just so tickled that I got to be a part of it!
